Don't sleep on Vinnie's just because there's a Joe's down the street! That's what I've been doing the last few weeks since living in Brooklyn, and I'm so glad my friends changed my mind with a midnight pizza run.
*Cash only with an atm inside. They offer vegan pizza pies*
Vinnie's has been in business 1960, and they make incredibly creative pizzas (unlike the classic New York slice by Joe's pizza). The restaurant itself has limited seating and walls decorated with pizza memorabilia and retro posters.
You place your order by the counter and then wait for them to reheat the pizza in the back. Even at midnight, there's a line almost out the door, but the cashier moves very efficiently.
Hi-Five - I'm a fan of pineapple and ham on pizza, and this one is done SO well with extra mozzarella.
I can't seem to find the name of the other pizza slice, but it's topped with jalapeno slices and cheese squares. This is my friend's favorite and he says it has "jalapeno poppers" somewhere in it? Nonetheless, it's delicious and NOT spicy at all. -

Stopped by Vinnie's Pizzeria after checking out the Beyond the Streets exhibition nearby. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken and a cheese slice. The buffalo chicken was very flavorful, the two slices and a Gatorade was $10 cash, great value, the pizza hit the spot.
They have vegan pizza and variety of people in the shop were ordering the vegan pizza. All of the slices saw everyone enjoying looked great.
Note they are cash only, if you need cash they do have an ATM machine on site. -

This is my favorite pizza place in all of Brooklyn. I ate here when I was visiting in July and honestly daydreamed of coming back all summer. My best friend and I made back and it was just as amazing. I grabbed two slices, the elote and the Mac and cheese. The elote is my favorite slice of pizza I've ever had anywhere. The flavors are spot on and it's just perfect. The Mac and cheese is also fun and tasty. Would definitely order again. My best friend had a vegan slice of a sweet and sour short rib option and the flavors were stellar! Would order any of their vegan options amy day.

Vinnie's specializes in unique and creative cuisine utilizing classic style and ingredients. Their Williamsburg location has been serving the neighborhood since 1960. The original recipe has not changed. Almost everything else has. Now their known around the world as one of the most inventive pizzerias. New York style pizza with a banging twist! Dope find & a neighborhood gem in my opinion!
I got the Chicken Quesadilla Slice which has Spicy chicken, pico de gallo, white corn tortilla chips, sharp cheddar, mozzarella, sour cream.
Finger licking good!
